Temple Legacy Foundation's Dr. & Mrs. James P. Temple, Sr. Auburn Pharmacy Memorial Scholarship was established in 2024 to honor the legacy of Dr. and Mrs. Temple and support future generations of pharmacy students.

Any student enrolled in the Harrison College of Pharmacy is eligible to apply for the Foundation's pharmacy Memorial Scholarship. Please note that this scholarship is separate from the scholarship awarded through the Auburn University Foundation.

Aviation Scholarship

In May 2026, Temple Legacy Foundation Board of Directors voted to expand its scholarship program beginning with the 2027–2028 academic year to include students enrolled in Auburn University’s Flight Education program within the School of Aviation.

This expansion reflects the lifelong example set by Dr. and Mrs. James P. Temple, Sr., whose generosity touched countless lives across many professions, backgrounds, and walks of life. They believed in helping others pursue their goals and dreams without hesitation, and without seeking recognition in return.

By extending scholarship opportunities to future aviators, the Foundation continues the Temple legacy of investing in students who demonstrate dedication, character, and a commitment to serving others. Through this initiative, the Foundation hopes to empower the next generation of aviation professionals while honoring the values that guided Dr. and Mrs. Temple throughout their lives.

Auburn Foundation Scholarship

Established through an agreement with Auburn University Foundation in January 2024, the Temple Legacy Foundation Annual Scholarship was the Foundation's first scholarship initiative and marked the beginning of its commitment to supporting students through educational opportunities and financial assistance. Since its creation, the scholarship has helped further the Foundation's mission of empowering future generations through education, servant leadership, and compassionate impact.

Students enrolled in the Harrison College of Pharmacy may apply for the Temple Legacy Foundation Annual Scholarship through Auburn University and the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM). Temple Legacy Foundation is not involved in the selection of recipient(s) for this scholarship, as all applications, reviews, and awards are administered through Auburn University.
